We start the seventh season of Xcèntric with Jonas Mekas, one of the cinema producers on our programme with justified regularity. This time, we are not showing his film work, but rather the work done in the Anthology Film Archives. The young Sarah Payton and Chris Teerink give a new air to the eighty-year old patriarch of the New American Cinema while showing the singularity of some archives that have not only preserved, but have also divulged the work of some of the main experimental cinema producers of our times.
