Forms and conflicts of multiculturalism

This seminar sets out to analyse, from the viewpoint of the prevention and resolution of possible conflicts, various aspects of the relation between the flows and forms of immigration in the Western Mediterranean. The aim is to analyse, from a theoretical viewpoint and in terms of real experience, three different moments: arrival in the country/society of destination; possible expressions of conflict and forms of adaptation, and the results in the form of new social and cultural fabrics of the elements of mobility in question

This multidisciplinary approach seeks to cover the various facets of this phenomenon in, among others, social, cultural and political terms, with the idea of proposing elements for debate and lines of understanding and response to possible problem issues.
