Programme of activities and award ceremony of the Cultural Innovation International Prize 2014-2015“AUDIENCES IN ACTION” WORKSHOP // Tuesday 9 June (from 6 to 9 pm) and Wednesday 10 June (from 10 am to 2 pm and 4 to 7 pm)
A workshop in which to develop co-creation methods that take into account the many possible approaches to participation, and the need to resolve some of the conflicts that arise from putting it into practice. Workshop participants will work in teams to create a draft cultural project based on user-centred design strategies, and will implement dynamics for brainstorming ideas, shared decision making, and the public presentation of projects. // Led by Irene Lapuente (La Mandarina de Newton).

CONVERSATIONS WITH THE JURY // 10 June
A series of talks with members of this year's jury, who will discuss some of the key aspects involved in the activation of cultural audiences.
11 am: The Participatory Museum. With Nina Simon and Conxa Rodà
Nina Simon (Santa Cruz Museum of Art & History -MAH) and Conxa Rodà (Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya- MNAC) in Barcelona–, two professionals with extensive experience in regard to the changing role of museums in society, will talk about the challenges and dilemmas that cultural institutions face in regard to participation and co-creation with the communities they serve.
1 pm: Cultural Institutions for All Ages. With Mark Miller and Fito Conesa
Mark Miller (Tate) and Fito Conesa (Habitació 1418,MACBA and CCCB) will talk about their experience as activators of young audiences. They will focus on the role of collaborative practices as a catalyst for informal learning and forms of cultural production that promote critical dialogue and change, an approach that can be put into practice with audiences of all ages.
4 pm: Civic Innovation and Cultural Mediation. With Marcos García
What bridges can be built between public institutions and civic innovation and creativity communities? Marcos García will discuss his views on managing collaboration with communities of users, on the role of providing tools and resources to artistic, cultural, and civic groups, and on the activation of spaces for creation, production and dissemination.
AWARD CEREMONY// 10 June, from 7.30 pm onwards
The announcement of the jury's decision and the presentation of the 2014-2015 Prize to the winning project will be the high point of the ceremony hosted by the journalist Bruno Sokolowicz. The evening will begin with the screening of the latest episode of Soy cámara – the CCCB’s television programme –, which looks at the evolution of the concept of “audience”. There will also be short presentations of the shortlisted projects by their creators, and it will close with a performance by Wooky & Videocratz, who will turn the CCCB Theatre into a celebration and wind up this first edition of the Prize with their music and video projections.
