Poetry in motion is the second part of an unprecedented anthology by American poets who cultivate experimentation and performance. On this occasion there are readings by Anne Waldman, Amiri Baraka, Jim Carroll, Michael Ondaatje, Allen Ginsberg, Peter Orlovsky, Diane DiPrima, Helen Adam, Spalding Gray, Jerome Rothenberg, Ted Berrigan, Charles Bukowski, Robert Creeley, Gary Snyder, John Giorno and Michael McClure.


Lou Reed, Rock & Roll Heart

A portrait of Lou Reed in the form of the experiences that influenced his song words and his music. Using archive images, interviews and hitherto unseen footage of Reed in concerts and conferences the world over, Greenfield-Sanders goes beyond facile mythicisation to offer a singular view of one of the founders of Velvet Underground.


Freedom Highway

A look at some of the major social occurrences of the 20th century, from the suffragettes at the start of the century to Apartheid, in the songs associated with them. The film includes the interventions of Tom Waits, Hugh Masakela, Elvis Costello, U2, The Soweto String Quartet and Billy Bragg.
