CiutatBeta Workshop

CiutatBeta is an educational project throughout, with tangible, quantifiable action in its conclusion. It takes the form of work in the community, sociocultural action and management, communication, the possibilities of new icts, and other specific areas that are also the focus of close attention of social sciences, disciplines and studies. But a key role is also played by public space or concepts such as energy and sustainability, elements that are also involved in other sciences or disciplines such as architecture, engineering or physics.

This is one of the things that sets CiutatBeta apart: its interdisciplinary ambition and projection; we realize that if we are to design or redesign the city for emerging citizens, and if it is to be done in a way that is reliable and well researched, we need the involvement of as many different agents and professionals as possible. Other viewpoints, techniques or ways of doing things, for the same common objective.

On 25 October, the Sala Raval at the CCCB hosts the workshop CiutatBeta with Xarx@ntoni and dpr-barcelona, connectors and facilitators, respectively.
