Centre de Fotografia Documental de Barcelona screens: 50 years of AFAL
The photographers who came together in AFAL magazine (1956-1963) shared a different way of understanding photography to the official position of the time. More than a question of style, the photography of AFAL represented both historic documentation and aesthetic creation.
Fifty years after it was set up, we present a selection of its published work as a pretext for the exchange of ideas and memories by five of the movement's protagonists: Oriol Maspons, Carlos Pérez Siquier, Josep Maria Albero, Paco Ontañón and Joan Colom.
