Writer Carlos Ruiz Zafón talks with journalist Sergi Doria about the city imagery that inspired some of the passages in his novel The Shadow of the Wind (2001), readings set in old Barcelona and a legendary nomenclature: Distrito V, Barrio Chino, Raval... In short, fictions as a reserve of the memory in a multicultural district whose early inhabitants have become literary characters.
