BCNmp7. Soundtracks
New musics for filmingThe relation between music and image is the key to discerning the quality of a soundtrack.
In this first autumn session of BCNmp7, documentary-maker Carlos Casas and musician Sebastián Escofet perform part of their project Siberian Fieldworks and Miguel Marín (Árbol, Magic) have composed the soundtrack for a project that contrasts Casa's images of Siberia with those of the famous Soviet documentarist Mark Donskoy. Plus Ciudadano, a young group from Valencia, performs an updated version of the music of Terrence Malick's.
