Awards ceremony of the 2014 European Prize for Urban Public Space winners
The Jury of the 2014 European Prize for Urban Public Space, constituted by the directors of the Prize’s six organising institutions and with Carme Ribas as its President, has considered all the works presented for this year’s Prize and has made its decision. However, the results will not be made public until the prize-giving ceremony, which is to be held at the Centre of Contemporary Culture of Barcelona on 25 April at 7 p.m. This event is open to the public and online streaming will also be offered with simultaneous translation into English. Immediately afterwards, the new itinerant exhibition showing the twenty-five finalists from several countries will be opened.
Programme
Friday 25 April
7 p.m. Prize-giving ceremony with the presentation being made by the journalist Gemma Ruiz with the participation of Carme Ribas, president of the Jury.
8.30 p.m. Opening of the exhibition of the prize-winning works.
Glass of cava and live music with the Obdara Trio.
The exhibition will be open to the public until 4 June.
Free of charge.
Saturday 26 April
11 a.m. Conversation with the authors of the prize-winning works and tour of the exhibition.
In English without simultaneous translation.
