He received the jury's special mention for the 2004 Pascsa Prizes (literary competition of Santa Coloma) for his poem "El payaso manchego" (La Mancha Clown), which was published in the first number of the review Caravansari, and second prize in the 2005 Pascsa Prizes for his poem "El viejo zahorí" (The Old Soothsayer). Both these poems were included in the collection Los cuentos de la laguna de los hermosos sueños (Stories from the Lake of Beautiful Dreams, 2007), which he is presently recasting to be performed on stage.
