Pere Serra

An architect and councillor-delegate of REURSA, a public company of the Generalitat (Government) of Catalonia, he is also vice-president of ARQUIN-FAD. He has been the Institut Català del Sòl (Catalan Land Institute) programmes director for neighbourhood renovation programmes (2002 – 2006) and executive director of the ARI programme of the Cuitat Vella (Old City) of Barcelona, besides being Secretary of the College of Architects of Catalonia. He was curator of the exhibition “Re-viure els barris” (Re-living the Neighbourhoods 2001) and in charge of Barcelona’s candidature for the Nineteenth Congress of the International Union of Architects. He has also taught in a number of universities and has lectured at conferences and congresses.
