Nzi Dada

A collaboration between bass-player Jim Parris, who is based in Manchester, and Paris-based Cameroonian performer and musician Xumo Nounjio, under the stage direction of Benji Reid.
The group's performances are based on Xumo Nounjio's intense percussion, together with participation by Cristophe V. Their night-time outdoor show "Ritual Imaginaire" is a meeting of Bantu culture and contemporary performance which brings funk, jazz and electronic music together with African percussion and traditional elements.
