Nicolás de Pedro

Research Fellow at CIDOB (Barcelona Centre for International Affairs), where he specialises in the post-Soviet space (Russia, Ukraine and Central Asia) and India. He is an adjunct professor at the Institut Barcelona d'Estudis Internacionals (IBEI) and was a Visiting Professor at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (Almaty) in 2014.  He is the author of numerous publications on Central Asian politics and a frequent contributor in the mainstream Spanish media.
