Lluís Izquierdo
He studied philosophy and letters at the University of Barcelona, where today he is chair professor of Spanish philology. He is a scholar of European literature, with special interest in Flaubert, Broch, Musil and Kafka.
He has published a considerable volume of poetry, with titles such as Supervivencias (1970), El ausente (1979), Calendario del nómada (1983), Señales de nieve (1995), Sesión continua (1998) and No hay que volver (2003).
