Ella Shohat
She is professor at program Compared Literature and sort studies in the departments of Art and Public Policy and Middle Eastern Studies, Tisch School of the Arts, of the University of New York.
She has specialized in cultural studies, postcolonial theory and audio-visual culture, to the United States and in other countries, and has specifically developed to the tie subjects to the cultural relations between Arabs and Jews. It has exerted of police station and adviser of different cultural activities, and participates in the publishing committee of several magazines: Social Texto , Critico , Jouvert y Public Culture .
