Alex Díez

Alex Díez formed Los Flechazos in León in 1988 and, after a shining decade of hits (they were the first Spanish mod group to gain a mass following), he set up Cooper, a “solo project with band”, comprising guitars and pop for the year 2000 and after. Díez has made some of this century’s most exciting pops discs in Spanish, performed all over Spain in concert halls and festivals, toured Germany and visited England, building a solid career based on direction, songs and coherence. He currently combines musical activity with his work at Ediciones Chelsea, publishing the book Club 45. 90 canciones de la Era Pop para mods y jetsetters (2010) and volumes of the “Mis Documentos” collection.
