Now in its fourth season, BCNmp7 continues to offer alternative takes on the present-day music scene and new concerts that illustrate the fusions and frictions affecting various musical genres.
In 2009, BCNmp7 kicks off with the EMERGENCY FEST, a session that showcases the latest work by upcoming groups on the national and international scene. Jeremy Jay (U.S.A) www.myspace.com/jeremyjay, Joe Crepúsculo (Barcelona), www.myspace.com/joecrepusculo, Marina Gallardo (Cádiz) www.myspace.com/marinagallardo, Nudozurdo (Madrid) www.myspace.com/nudozurdo, and El Nota (Barcelona) www.myspace.com/elputunota with a group of extemporizers (Arnau Sala, Mark Cunningham, Rafael Romero, Juan Damico, Israel Marco i Adrián de Alfonso) will show the new musical languages that are upcoming.
