2. Purpose of the processing of data

The data supplied to the CCCB through different media (contact form, newsletter, purchase of tickets, etc.) are processed in line with the legislation in force in data protection matters with the sole aim of providing the service requested of us in each case.

In each of these media we provide detailed information on the purpose of the processing of the data that is carried out solely and exclusively if you have authorised such processing.

Below we detail the information relating to the different purposes for which we may collect your data.

Personnel selection

 

We will process the information for the selection process of the post for which you have applied. Your data will not be shared with third parties.

We will destroy your data within a maximum term of 6 months after completing the selection process if you have not been selected.

Subscriptions to the newsletter

We will send information to you on the centre’s programme. Your data will not be shared with third parties.

Your personal data are held until the time that you request to cease receiving our communications, at which point they will be eliminated.

You may request their elimination at any time by using the information appearing in each communication.

Contact mailboxes

We will process your data to respond to your request (general information, venue hire, etc.). Your data will not be shared with third parties.

Your personal data will be held until your request has been answered and any appropriate actions taken. After this, they will be eliminated except when responsibilities are implied for the CCCB.

Billing of services

If you order any service subject to payment (venue hire, Friends of the CCCB, etc.), your data will be used exclusively for the billing of that service. Your data will not be shared with third parties.

We will hold your data the time necessary for billing of the service ordered, once this billing has taken place we will hold the minimum information necessary demanded to comply with the laws on taxation.

 

Only data that you have provided for the purpose informed by us and authorised by you will be processed. There will be no processing of your data by third parties and your data will not be shared with third parties unless you have expressly authorized this.

The legal basis of the processing of your data is the execution of the services you have requested of us and have expressly authorized.

Under no case will automated decisions be made based on your data.

The user supplies us with his or her data voluntarily at all times and has been informed regarding the use made and processing of those data. All information provided to us by the user must be truthful. The user holds sole responsibility for any false or inaccurate statements made and any losses caused to the CCCB or third parties. The CCCB reserves the right to exclude from its services any users who have provided false data, without prejudice to any other actions that may be applicable by law.

 

3. Your rights when you provide us with your data

At any time you may request and obtain information on how and for what we are using your data.

You may:

  • Access your data: request which data of yours we have and what use we are making of them and even for us to provide them to you in order to take them to another company.
  • Rectify your data: request the modification or rectification of any inaccurate data.
  • Eliminate your data: request that your data be eliminated and not processed, except for those that the law obliges us to keep.
  • Limit the processing: request that your data are kept for legal needs.
  • Oppose processing: that we do not make a use of your data for a specific purpose.
  • Portability of data: that we send the data to you in a compatible format so that you can forward it to a third party who has to offer you a service.

For this reason you may send a letter indicating which of the above rights you wish to exercise (Access, Rectification, Opposition or Portability of the data) attaching a copy of your National Identity Card to the CCCB, Data Protection Delegate, Carrer Montalegre no. 5, 08001 Barcelona or alternatively to the email address dpd@cccb.org.

5. Presentation of complaints

The Catalan Data Protection Authority (www.apdcat.cat ) is the Supervising Body that ensures compliance with the legislation on data protection within the Catalan Public Administration. If you consider that the CCCB has not complied with any of the precepts established in these regulations you may contact APDCAT in order to lodge a complaint.
