Robert Juan-Cantavella

Editorial chief of the cultural magazine Lateral, he has written as a critic in several Spanish, Italian and French publications such as Écrits... Vains?, Letture, The Barcelona Review, El Malpensante, Crónica... He co-directed the short film El próximo lunes and illustrated the children's book La coleccionista de instantes (2005).

He is author of the novel Otro (2001), of the essay Joan Brossa i la quadratura del cercle (2003) and of the book of short stories Proust Fiction (2005). His short stories have appeared in several magazines and in the anthologies Narratives 1996-2001 (2002); Extramares. Cinco nuevos narradores de Barcelona (2004) and Quijote. Instrucciones de uso (2005).

He lives in Barcelona, where he is currently working on the book Vida y opiniones del caballero Javier Krahe.
