TRÀFIC 09 Photographic Experience

Once again, photography will take centre stage in Barcelona during November 2009, thanks to the third Tráfic Photographic Experience and the CCCB. Tráfic 09 aims to articulate and rationalise the many different expressions and projects that take place in Barcelona and the rest of Spain - displaying them, encouraging synergies and creating a context that can help to develop social complicity among associations and individuals, individuals and professionals, private and public entities. 

The program will be structured along four basic lines: monographic screenings (Spanish and international photographers), contributions by photography collectives, participative and specific knowledge workshops, and sharing among different fields of photography: advertising, journalism, fashion, etc. It will also focus on sharing with other disciplines or fields: literature, film and theory, through debates, round table discussions and meetings. Tráfic 09 will continue with its firm commitment to bringing documentary and urban photography to people on the streets and to helping develop new audiences by offering them different photographic experiences.
