Mysteries of magic and illusionism related to Ramon Llull

A workshop where science and magic connect with MIquel Duran and Fernando Blasco

The Thinking Machine

This workshop will explore some of the concepts of logic and combinatorics related to Ramon Llull, allowing us to produce some surprising and spectacular effects. We’ll show how science and magic (illusionism) connect, and even reveal some secrets.

Facilitated by: Miquel Duran, researcher in theoretical and computational chemistry, and Fernando Blasco, lecturer in applied mathematics at the UPM. Both are interested in the relation between education and popular science, and introducing science as part of culture.
